Count Down Timers at Traffic Lights - Save fuel

The count down timer is a device which displays how many seconds are left for the traffic light to go green from red. This curbs any impatience on part of the drivers and curbs the habit of drivers needlessly pressing the throttle. In fact, if the length of the light is greater than 1 minute, it will worthwhile to stop your car and start it just before the light turns green.

Researchers in Nevada are reporting that waste coffee grounds can provide a cheap, abundant, and environmentally friendly source of biodiesel fuel for powering cars and trucks. Their study has been published online in the American Chemical Society's (ACS) Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, a bi-weekly publication.
